Privacy
Last updated 8 November 2026
- What your AIs remember about you is checked and kept on your device, secured with a code only you know.
- We can't read your checks. Nobody can open them without your code.
- No ads, no tracking, and we never sell or share your information.
Who we are
KeepMeTrue is operated by Gurumae Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202649729R), at 160 Robinson Road #14-04, SBF Center, Singapore 068914. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Gurumae.

What KeepMeTrue does
KeepMeTrue helps you see what your AI assistants remember about you, decide what's right, and keep it the same across them. You ask your AI for what it remembers, bring the answer into KeepMeTrue, and the app sorts and compares it on your device.
What stays on your device
- The answers you bring in from your AIs, your checks, your notes and your history.
- All of it is kept on your device, secured with your code. If you turn on Face ID or fingerprint, your device handles that; we never see it.
- The app reads and sorts answers on your device. It doesn't send them to us or to anyone else.
- We can't reset your code. If you forget it, a backup gets you back in. Without one, no one can open your checks, including us, and you can delete them and start again.
Where your checks are kept
Your checks are kept on your device, secured with your code. Nothing leaves your device. If you lose the device, a backup file is the only copy, so save one now and then.
A later version will also let you keep a locked copy in your own cloud drive or in KeepMeTrue's locked cloud, so it comes back on a new device. We'll explain here exactly how each one works before it's available.
Using KeepMeTrue in your browser
While KeepMeTrue is being tested, you can also use it as a web page saved to your home screen, at try.keepmetrue.com. It works the same way, with these differences:
- Kept in your browser. Your checks are kept in your browser's storage for this page, secured with your code together with a key that only this browser on this device holds. Face ID and fingerprint aren't available, so you enter your code every time you open it.
- This device only. The web version keeps your checks on this device. To keep a copy somewhere else, save a backup file.
- Loading the page. The page's code comes from our website when it opens or checks for an update, so Cloudflare keeps the basic technical records any website gets, such as your IP address, browser type and the time. They never include anything from your checks. After the first visit the page works offline, and its content rules stop it sending data anywhere.
- Copy and paste. You bring in your AI's answer by copying and pasting it, which goes through your device's clipboard. On Apple devices, the clipboard can pass to your own nearby devices, and a keyboard app with full access could read it. KeepMeTrue offers to clear the clipboard after you paste.
- Reminders. The weekly reminder is a calendar event you add yourself. If your calendar syncs, the event syncs too, but it only says "Check your AIs with KeepMeTrue".
- Deleting. On iOS, removing the home screen icon deletes what the page kept. On Android, clearing your browser's data for the site deletes it. If you use the page in your browser on iOS without adding it to your home screen, the browser may delete its data after 7 days without a visit.
- Links in chat apps. If you open the link inside a chat app, that app may fetch the page to show a preview. The page itself holds no personal data.
What leaves your device, and only when you choose
- Fixes for your AI. When you send a correction, KeepMeTrue gives you a request to paste or share into that AI. It goes only where you send it.
- Backups. You give each backup file a password when you save it, so wherever it's kept, only you can open it. It goes only where you save it.
- Emails to us. See "When you email us" below.
What each AI keeps is covered by that AI's own privacy policy. KeepMeTrue can't change an AI's memory directly; the AI decides whether to accept a request.
Using KeepMeTrue inside an AI chat
Where KeepMeTrue is offered inside an AI chat, your AI sends us its list of what it remembers about you. That list can include details about other people, and private topics such as health or money. Our server uses it only to build the check you see, and keeps nothing once the check is shown. No sign-in is needed. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical records, such as an IP address and the time of a request, for up to 30 days for security.
The check also stays in that AI's chat history, under the AI's own privacy policy. You can delete the chat there.
What we don't collect
- You don't need an account to use KeepMeTrue, and it doesn't ask for your email address.
- No ads, no analytics and no tracking, in the app or on this website. This website sets no cookies.
- The app doesn't ask for your contacts, location, photos or microphone.
- Reminders are set on your own device. We don't send them.
Other people in your AI's memory
Your AI may remember things about people you know. In KeepMeTrue those details are treated like the rest of your checks: secured on your device, and never sent to us.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your address and what you write only to help you. Our email runs on Google Workspace. We keep the conversation for up to 90 days after your question is answered and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
During testing
While KeepMeTrue is being tested, we may ask what you think of it. Answering is up to you. We'll never ask to see your checks. If you send feedback with a screenshot, for example through TestFlight, check it doesn't show anything private, because the screenshot comes to us.
Companies that help us
| Company | What for | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Our email | Emails you send us | |
| Cloudflare | This website and the web version of KeepMeTrue | Basic technical records, never anything from your checks |
| Apple, Google | App stores | What their stores collect under their own policies |
When the chat check and the locked cloud are available, the company that hosts them will be listed here. These companies may handle information outside Singapore. We use them only under terms that require them to protect it.
Children
KeepMeTrue is for adults aged 18 and over.
Your choices
- Delete everything. In settings, you can delete all your checks at once. That deletes them from your device. Deleting the app deletes what it keeps on that device. In the web version you can also remove the home screen icon on iOS, or clear your browser's data for the site on Android. A backup file you saved stays until you delete it.
- See or fix what we hold. Because we can't read your checks, we can't show them to anyone, change them or hand them over. For anything else we hold, such as your emails to us, write to help@keepmetrue.com to see, correct or delete it. We'll reply within 30 days.
- Complain. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can contact the data protection authority where you live. In Singapore, that's the Personal Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how your information is handled, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
